old stuff sparks new ideas

I've really enjoyed going back over the muse work that we previously wrote for class. Looking back makes you really think of what was on my mind at that time. It’s cool to see where your mind can take you without even knowing. I also find it interesting how you can write something, not read it for a while and go back and not have a clue what you were talking about. Trying to interoperate a muse work is very difficult do to the nature of the muse. When you write using your muse, you use your thoughts as they happen and turn them into words, lines and eventually a poem. However, when muse work is left on revised for a long period of time, you tend to forget what you were thinking about when you wrote it. Sometimes it is easy to actually discover a new way to view your muse work, which will spark a completely new idea. Poems are really neat that way, they take you places you could only dream of. Although I like reading back over my work I’m finding it hard to pick ones I think have potential in them and ones I don’t think are to personal for class. I find a lot of my work extremely personal! Stuff that can be very scary to say in front of your peers.
